First up, thanks for the interview!
-Since your joining here, which members have inspired you, if any?
There have been a bunch actually. Chingy and Insom were big role models for me in the early going due to their popularity back then and knowledge of all things CHU. Also I've really looked up to veteran mods like Neo, ES and Darkish on how to moderate back when I first became a mod last year.
What motivates you to create a comic, where do you gain inspiration?
I don't really get inspired by anything specific, my brain just works in weird ways... Sometimes I just think of something dumb, which leads to something else dumb and that eventually becomes a comic idea... which I throw into a big word document. If the idea's still funny to me when I look at the document next, then it becomes a comic.
Then again, sometimes I just have an idea and roll with it, it really depends on how good the idea is.
How long can you see yourself being an active member of the site? Years? A lifetime?
I don't see an end in sight, so you can expect to have to put up with my crap for a long time.
What are a few of your favorite movies?
Major League, The Big Lebowski, Fight Club, The Matrix, I could watch all of them all day and not get tired of 'em.
What do you like most about CheatHappens? And what motivates you to visit here on a daily basis?
The community's gotta be my favorite part of CHU, and it's also probably the main reason I visit daily. Nowadays I'm also here because of my moderator-ly duties but I'd still be here even if I wasn't because of how tight the community is here.
Got any political views?
Not particularly, I'm pretty turned off to political parties because almost everyone that I know fervently supports one side and refuses to even listen to what the other side has to say. That doesn't really jive with me, I like to make my decisions based on individual issues, not some broad set of party ideals.
Would you say you were easily angered?
Not particularly, and especially not on the internet. That doesn't mean I don't get riled up though, I just try to bottle up that anger and release it in some other form, like a cutting remark or some backhanded wit or something.
What do you spend most of your free time doing?
Usually just chillin'. I like to relax and kick back on my time off because I usually never get any time off. Especially lately. Video Games, the occasional party, and sometimes concerts take up my free time, but most of the time I'd rather be relaxing than going out and tearing up the town because my schedule is so hectic.
