Sure...we all say ROFL from time to time when we think something is funny on the internet. However...the chances of us ACTUALLY rolling on the floor and laughing are slim.
So when was the last time (of what you can remember) where you were literally, on the floor because you were laughing so hard?
It was about 10 years ago for me. I was watching Spongebob with a good friend of mine. It was that one episode where Squidward attempts to start a band to perform in the Bubble Bowl. However as usual things didn't work out and Spongebob saved the day.
So it was when started to sing is when we started laughing hysterically and ended up on the floor.
Mine was like 5 days ago, me and my friends where at my friend's house, we were joking as usual, idk who said something, I laughed in a weird way, my friend laughed at the way I laughed, laughed so much that everyone laughed at him and me, then we all started laughing for no reason maybe, but me and my other friend actually Rofled.

One time at the bar, a bunch of us were horribly drunk and we were teasing the hot bartender. I fell off my stool and rolled on the floor laughing.

A few months ago someone came out with a brilliant comment at the time and given scenario which i won't repeat. Needless to say i was in tears, struggling for breath.

The girlfriend one someone I know acts awkwardly around my friend Eric. He held out his hand to shake once and she refused, we joke that it's because he's white. One night in the library, maybe 3 months ago, we were talking about that. All I can say is it led to some very R-rated jokes and me daring Eric with $50 incentive, I almost cried, I had to walk away for a couple minutes because my stomach started hurting so much.
And once during my first year of university, I just finished my third, I was in a Physics lab with my friend Ali. I forget what we were doing but it was kind of interesting and I said "coooooool" in a Stewie voice and it sounded just like that one episode of Family Guy. Ali started laughing really hard, but I never realized what I just did so I was just sitting there looking at him. He calmed down enough to tell me and we spent the next ten minutes laughing, I cried.
I actually have a lot of these moments at school. It's the only way besides drinking to deal with the workload. When we're studying for exams late at night we usually know it's time to leave when we get hysterical.

There was this dog toy on the ground at my friends, and I was just kinda holding it and tossing it for like 10 minutes, when I squeezed it and it made the squeak-toy sound. So I laughed really loudly in a different laugh than usually. This led to my friends laughing, and next thing I knew, I was rofling.
