Yep The trainer also causes my game to crash periodically and randomly. Also it sucks that my AVG constantly removes the trainer as a Trojan, even though I added it to my exemptions list.
Bioware is working on a 1.02 patch for ME2 so I hope that cheat happens comes out with a more stable trainer with a few more options like always sprint in storm speed or inf. storm speed.
PS. I also run windows 7 ultimate.

the game did crash randomly but it wasn't because of the trainer. after updating it to version 1.01 and using the trainer of the same version i didn't have any trouble whatsoever. using Win7 Ultimate 64-Bit. try right-clicking and running both game and trainer as administrator..if u haven't tried that already.

Already changed the settings on both and have been running them both as Admin. I think what the problem may be is that the trainer was made before all the newer DLC's came out for ME2. I noticed I started have the crash issue after getting the firewalker pack, and Kasumi stolen memory.
Most of the time my game crashes with the trainer when I try to have either Zaeed or Kasumi on my landing party in certain areas of the game.

Agreed. My trainer worked fine but as soon as I loaded up the Kasumi pack and took Kasumi with me, the trainer crashes the game instantly when I activate it. I even updated to the 5/11/2010 trainer but that didn't help. Hopefully the trainer will be updated to include the new content soon. I dont use the trainer much, but when I do, I really need it :-)
Cheers,

As an update....
I am running the full retail version downloaded from EA. I had to use the "No DVD" crack to get the first Trainer to work. That trainer stopped working when I added Kasumi and the other downloadable content. I downloaded the updated STEAM 101 trainer and it works. Not sure this will help everyone but if your Trainer is causing your game to crash, try the other trainer versions.
