Yea he was ten, like 11 years ago when the show first started, he should be 21, geez he should be getting drunk and setting fire to things.

Hate to bring logic into this, wait, no i don't, but this is a little kids show. I highly doubt Ash would get drunk. Or have his creator allow him to get drunk.

Of course, if you were being sarcastic, then my logic has little to no meaning.
