Also, we say that Dumbledore has a sword! do you think he can fight with it like gandolf does with his sword?

Potatoes-
-Meh. Godric's sword is still better.
-Semantics.
-The people that Dumbledore went on to save million as well. Both Gandlaf and Dumbledore saved people who went on to save the world. They both win there.
-Thousands of years just sounds too excessive. After 200 years or so it's just like "Meh. What's the point?" See? Dumbledore had a good sense of when to let go.

Latios-They both wore the same basic stuff. Long wizard's robes.

I'd also like to add that while Dumbledore is doing paperwork and babysitting kids, Gandalf is off fighting the forces of evil.

Latios-Whatever you said was offensive. Point to Dumbledore!

Paradox-You've obviously never seen/read the later books and/or movies. He's almost never at the school because he's out "Fighting the forces of evil" as you so aptly put it.
