Potatoes-
-Uh, I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Frodo's sword, Sting. Gandalf's sword doesn't really do anything when enemies are near. And I'm glad we're all realizing that a wizard doesn't need a sword to fight. They're wizards. Duh.
-YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID THE HORSE PUSHED DENATHORE!
-Gandalf inadvertently saved what? 8 people? Dumbledore saved thousands, in not millions by staying and fighting Voldemorte. And for the record, Gandalf didn't let go. His old frail body just couldn't hold on any longer.
Dumbledore was about 170ish when he died. I'd say that's plenty of wisdom.
H-You're still wrong.
Lolznoob-Thanks for the Toasty support, but you're views on the topic at hand are a little skewed. Dumbledore is the one who goes all the way.
Rise Against-I'd like to see Gandalf take on the dark lord. And for the record, Gandalf also never took on an entire Orcish army by himself.
Evanescense-You call that an arguement? I see your pitiful point and replace it with my own. Dumbledore.
Concise and useful argument is my style
I love Gandalf! But it's hard to choose between the two...I feel like Dumbledore has a problem with favoritism. Let me add that Gandalf can kill Dumbledore.
...So, Gandalf!
Favoritism? Are you telling me that you wouldn't give that kid a break? He witnessed his parents death as a baby. Grew up with horrible, distant relatives. And did I mention that he has an unbreakable bound with the murderer of his parents? And half the world is out to get him. Not to mention he's destined to fight said murderer and save or destroy the world. Are you telling me you wouldn't feel for the little guy too?
And you cannot honestly tell me Gandalf didn't favor Frodo. He practically carried him on his back through the first movie.
