Well, I havent seem to found a way how to loot/raid a city/port. I heard somewhere that you need 500 men for that, well I have 520 men and some weird ship that I got by editing game files (SHIP_Arabella). Any ideas on how to loot the city now..?

i raided a spanish city, got 4 officers over, i could choose NONE!! to take it over(become pirate, upgrade my fort etc) only raid take the little food there was(100)
i did this with 4 ships, my own warship destroyed the fort as the AI that controls the ships are stupid as hell, after forts is destroyed i get the red icon that make me assault the city, i think i had about 1200men in total, 200 left after, not worth it if you cant take it for your own

I always get close enough to shoot grape shot 4or5 times after I have destroyed a lot of cannons at the fort. Don't get sunk and save, save save. been playing this thing a year
