Pierre Trudeau said that when he was our Prime Minister. I put the same idea towards gay marriage, what goes on in someone elses bedroom is not my business, or anyone that isn't in that bedroom.
It's a scientific fact that people are born either gay or straight. Arguing against that is like saying the Earth is flat.
I'm not gay but I fully support gay rights. Not giving gay people rights is like not giving immigrant minorities rights, it's wrong. Any minority who is against gay rights is incredibly ignorant and hypocritical. If you expect to be treated equally if you're different then you should also treat others equally.

However, I think this thread is entirely pointless. Nobody has stated or will state that they are opposed to same-sex relationships because history has shown us that such remarks lead straight into the hell that is a flaming war.
Ditto, however I disagree with one thing.
We are not born to a sexuality, we are born asexual. A newborn will not have a sexuality because it doesn't have a sex drive, that comes later. Orientation is determined by environment during puberty more than anything else.
That being said, females are more likely to be bisexual than anything else and it can be argued that to a degree every women is a little bisexual.
Nic_Durron is right. a mature society is one that accepts u for who u r and doesn't judge u because of ur sexual orientation. its a personal choice. i personally find nothing wrong with it whatsoever.
I'm not a fan of homosexuality or bisexuality ( because i am kind of religious ) but that doesn't mean that I'm going to say or do anything against them. It's their choice and it doesn't concern me

This is baseless discrimination. You don't like men having relationships with men because you're male. However, because you're male, you have no problem with women doing the same? Let's be honest, the reason you say "women liking women is very good in some ways" is because of internet porn. There is no other reason to treat same-sex relationships differently in this manner.

Agreed, and as a bisexual female I an honestly say that it's often sickening when a guy looks at me in that way because I'm holding hands with another girl. It's even worse when they know my orientation and see me cuddle a girl.
