Me being gay, I think anyone who harbors hatred towards us simply because we are how we are (A fact as unchangeable as our skin-color or birth-gender or the fact we were born human) needs to be either reeducated, or put down like the parasite they are.
Hate on this level is a manufactured item meant to be spread by ignorance from parent to child or between certain subsects of certain religious beliefs. Not all Christians are hateful, while most if not all think that same-sex relationships are not what God intended.
However, there's a lot of evidence of many homosexual activities in the animal kingdom, from felidae to canidae and Mustelidae and other genus of animals, both for sexual release AND as a show of dominance. Also there are cases of animals self-stimulating their sexual organs, some with foreign tools such as pebbles in the case of female hedgehogs.
There are actually very well-documented and thorough studies on these matters.
Anyway, I digress. It's wrong to hate homosexual or bisexual people simply because they're against the established "norm" of procreation (And admittedly, if you want to prevent non-procreative sex, then ban condoms, the pill, and while you're at it, make premarital sex a crime for good measure too, since that fits in so well with similar agendas).
There's a guy on Youtube who's been trolling my comments, who's said that "Homophobia is a normal man's reaction to being in the same room as a limp-wristed girly boy ******" and other such bull....
My mother has gone from being opposed to same-sex marriage, to being a supporter of it. She's realized that nothing will happen by allowing it than same-sex couples being allowed to marry, be it in their church or in any public setting where they would be able to feasibly arrange the ceremony. Nope, no Commies invading, no Civilization crumbling at our feet, none of the slippery-slope fallacy arguments will come true, etc.
The fire of love may be as specific or as general as those who behold its warmth could ever realize. Some love what society deems "Normal", while others could turn either way, and yet others can't help but be "abnormal". Honestly, who gives a flying **** who one makes love with so long as no one's hurt by it?
Of course it's abnormal for an adult to love a child like that, Adult x Child marriages will never happen in our lawful society even if XY-XY marriages take place. So what if two people have the same arrangement of gender-chromosomes? Since when does an XY meeting and boinking and marrying an XY hurt anyone except the idiots who've no business in the matter anyway?
Another thing, there are many hypocrites on Youtube who are fine with XX XX relationships, but flip the **** out the very moment an XY XY comes up. And the particular response I got was disheartening to say the least. The guy basically said that "Females are more sensitive and loving than males, that's why it's wrong for a bunch of men to wear animal costumes and jump into a pile and rub each other. If these had been women, it'd be totally different and perfectly acceptable."
