who the hell to you use to get the achievement for staying alive in the final mission the only person that dies is the tech expert do you have to use someone for the other teams or what HELP
Well presuming that the Xbox version of the game is same with the PC version, you have to all loyalties at maximum by finishing every character's loyalty mission. Nothing else as much as I gather. But you also have to careful about who you pick, because some of the members given as a choice are the wrong choice.
I had all loyalties to maximum and chose the members as following:
Vents: Tali
2nd Team: Garrus
Barrier: Samara
Escort: Mordin
Diversion Team: Garrus
No one died. As I said, loyalty seems to be all that matters at that point. Careful not to lose anyone's when given a conflict situation e.g. Miranda and Jack, Tali and Legion. So far these were the only members that had bad blood between them. Results of past events and mistakes.
Also ephrem is correct about the upgrades, you can get the special upgrades by posing questions with Investigate to the team members or after you gain their loyalty they should appear in the research terminal.

hi guys,
i have played this game about 25-30 times now with commander shepard many different persona's e.g. soldier, adept, sentinal etc.
1st play through got my achievement for "no one dies" but always lost a character in play throughs after the 1st. the pc version plays slightly different than the xbox360 version(conversations & missions)as i have gathered from forums on this game.
vents: assassin/sharpshooter
tali is not comfortable in the vents as she has a cold(conversation with shepard after u do her loyalty mission)"treason"
2nd team: miranda- using her command & tactical expertise,it's in her bio- she's good at what she does.
barrier: samara or jack
escort: mordin or tali
diversion team: miranda again
i have lost a character on the final scene on the platform under lump of steel where shepard pulls it off the character, mine was miranda-she died. all characters were loyal. so to me it seems to be a random thing no matter if their loyal or not. i have even lost 2 characters on this level, so i use the sharpshooter for the vents. special note: play me1 if possible, save the council, it helps a lot in me2 as all my previous me1 saves had the council dead so quickly played through me1 with a saved council. i loved the scene with that annoying reporter who made u look foolish in me1,save game, then punch her lights out.(it felt soooo good to do that). this game is utterly awesome and can't wait for me3 to came out.
the ***** fight between miranda & jack is also another random thing in me2, sometimes you have to decide between miranda or jack to cool their heels which will put one of them back to "normal"loyalty and the character won't talk to you anymore, sometimes you get to tell both to shut up in conversation wheel which is better because you won't lose loyalty from either of them. i think it depends how many times you talk to miranda and jack on their own. i like talking to samara the most, she's hot. miranda is the easiest to get into the cot.
talk to all your characters even grunt(he cracks a joke)for insight into their lives after every major mission. make sure all characters are loyal before you do the "suicide mission" as this is nearly the final mission.
