when i type -console 1 into the target line or startin line i get "The name "C:/Program Files/Activision/Vampire-Bloodlines/vampire.exe"'-console' specified in the Target or Startin box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

As I have spent the last hour trying to figure out why the -console command was not working, I thought I would share my experience and possible solution. If you are using the desktop shortcut that the installer created the "target" is not editable, the line you are typing in is the "start in" line. You need to delete that shortcut and create another one from the game folder than the "target" line is editable and everything will work fine.
I hope this helps you, I know how frustrating it is to spend all that time trying to find out what's wrong only to discover it is something simple like this.

I had issues with the -console 1 command but found out there needed to be a space between when the " and the - started (and also between the console and the 1 but im sure most knew that). It had to be vampire.exe"(space)-console(space)1 and this was in the target line. After that it worked fine.

I hope you guys can help me here.

I play the game via steam, but when I get the console up inside the game, the game freezes. This happens regardless of whether I type in a code or not. I acan use the mouse and type in the console box, but thats it.. Any ideas?
