I am old and limited to computer understandings but enjoy PC games, can anybody help installing the game on windows 7? I know it says for vista but thought I'd try anyways the game is new! Thank you for any help!I get a "fatal error message" when trying to install! (Intel core 2 quad 6600, gtx 280 oc 1g video card. windows 7 32-bit)Again Thanks!

Hmm, I'd suggest you check the Gearbox forums too. Maybe someone else here knows too. I don't have Windows 7 myself so that's the best I can do, sorry.

I've installed Borderlands in Windows 7 and it works fine from install to play, did you try installing on other machine? Maybe you haven't updated DirectX or try installing the game on different path.

I had some problem too. I installed the game, and played it, but i can't get the opening song (and SFX for the opening scene) to run. I've installed this game before on my XP PC, and it works just fine. But this problem keep on in my 7 PC. The in-game sound were fine, but the opening was off. I also get a crash each time i run trainers that works.... if the trainer works, the game crash

It could be a problem with the DVD , with your Hard Drive , any number of things . I recommend installing .NET Framework from the microsoft website as well as the latest DirectX , Defragment your hard drive and if it still doesn't work , then try the Gearbox forums for support
