Decrease Level appears not to function properly.

When I use this feature it grants me talent points instead.

I was hoping to lower my level in my Playthrough 2 in order to easily increase my off spec weapon proficiencies.

I will give it another whirl and see if I get the same result again.

Note I had this occur on a level 50 Hunter that had completed both play throughs and the DLC for playthrough 2.

The decrease level function doesn't decrease the experience points, thus it reads it as you reaching level 50 again immediately due to already having max XP.

Use a save editor to decrease your experience instead. That worked for me.
    Yo.

Someone posted a list of experience points per level somewhere on this board. So just set your experience points and drop your level with an editor.
