I agree the game is overrated, i still play Baldur's Gate on occasions, it would be a shame to compare DA to Baldur's Gate.

I am playing Dragon Age for the second time and it is an awesome game. It was definitely worth waiting for.
Better than Risen or Gothic 3, I would say that it rates as good as Oblivion.

Gothic 3 was a bad game. i still have bad memories of the time i wasted on it. but i hear DAO is good or atleast better than G3.
