I used the Toolset to change a value in my save file. Just open it up in the toolset, you can find the value there. I made my weight limit 150, because I want to carry ALOT but at the same time, I don't want too much.

That sounds like a great idea im gonna try that 1 thanks!

Step one. Scan for your encumbrance.
    Step two. Find the address.
Step three. Change value to 1. Freeze
    Step four. ???
    Step five. Profit?
otherwise just live with it. you dont need to carry around 100 injury kits.
( the other way is too long for your mind.)

Just so you know, that fix is worthless. I was playing last night with that fix (bc current encumbrance address +16 no longer works) and if you do have enough items to fill your inventory, it will fill it, and the game will ***** at you.

Not to encourage the competition, but there is a trainer that allows you to carry unlimited number of items on this page:

    m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_dragon_age_origins.shtml

Download "Dragon Age: Origins v1.0 & v1.01 +8 TRAINER #2". It will have an option to get yourself an unlimited bag. I've checked - works.

Sorry for posting a link to another website, but someone asked, and I answered. I hope there are no issues with that.

Simplest way to get a huge inventory is to grab the toolset (with or without BioWare/EA's approval), open your current savegame (make backup) and find->modify the SAVEGAME_MAX_ITEMS in the SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST section of the savegame.

In other news, changing item models/materials works apparently, and wearing a full Juggernaut armor made of gold feels... nice.

Tried using toolset. Now when in game music is overlapping, combat tactics don't work and I cant exit to world map.

Apparently it happens when you mess with override. For anyone having similar problems to fix it you rename override and/or Single Player folder.

A while ago I've posted a way to increase your inventory carrying limit using CoSMOS here: Link (Third post from the bottom, cannot find an easy way to link directly to a post here, "a name='postID'" tags would be helpful)

Checked on 1.01a this method still works.

Basically, search for your encumbrance (4 byte Int) in CoSMOS or ArtMoney (equip/unequip items to easily change encumbrance), when you found it, add 16 bytes (0x10 hex) to address, that should be your carrying limit.

Wouldn't recommend increasing it to insane values (past 1000 for example), inventory opening time increases also.

Hope that helps someone, and now that we have toolset it might be easier to edit save file anyway & thanks for a tip.
