Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

I have this game and already played it for a while...

my question is.. will the expansion work with my saved game? like if I get "the stone prisoner" DLC one installed, will I get the golem NPC in my saved game or I will have to start the new game to make it work

It should work, as you don't meet the character or generally get involved in the quest for it until after you can travel through the world map. I've had the DLC installed since I started though, so I can't be entirely sure.

I would've thought so. It would be pretty stupid to charge you $15 for DLC and then expect you to start the game from scratch

you don't need to start from scratch. the DLC is already installed onto your hard drive so you can access it. the new areas are accessed via world map

i can talk to levi in my camp about soldiers peak, i have the dlc, butno marker appears on my map???? please help
