Strength 38 required, with some awesome bonuses. I heard it was the best in the game but don't know for sure. Based on where I am at that would be disappointing since I still have more then half the game to go. But considering you can do the quests in any order it may be accurate. Also I will point out that if you equip it on your main character the pauldrons are so freakishly huge that they will block out a lot of the screen during a lot of the dialog. Kind of annoying looking at the back of your armor during all those sweet dialog moments.
