when do i get the dog thing?

i hope that dog that was runing from the darkspawn wasent suppose to be my dog they slaughted it befor i could kill them all

... the dog you see running from the darkspawn supposed to join your party, I have him joined, but i don't use him really. There are more party members to be had, not a great loss imo.

how the heck i protect him from thedarkstorm then im a have to start the game over:/

1) you unlock him in Human noble origin story part
2) Ostagar...the Hound keeper..guy w/e..lol You will see him i'm sure of it

Humans only man? i was hopeing elfs could get him to so if i manage to save that dog in nightmare mod it wont help at all?

no i meant the 1st option is for humans only, Ostagar is open to every class since thats main part of the quest..after the origins story. Only human nobles get to unlock Dog early..

hmm ok i wonder if il ever save the dog befor it gets killed iff i had enuf fire bombs maybie i could

dont worry..even if ostagar is blown to hell...dog will survive..you'll get what i mean.
