Does anyone know how I can get single fire guns like the G3 to fire like an automatic gun? I noticed that on some guns they have bullet symbols on the side which tells me that there is a way to change the fire rate of those guns, i just don't know how, can anyone tell me ?? Thank You

Only a modded controller will do this and you can get banned for use of one.

There is no way to switch between Semi automatic and automatic if that's what you're asking.

That's weird because the other day I was playing in a Hardcore Team Deathmatch and i wen to pick up a G3 that was on the ground and I was able to shoot it like it was an automatic gun, but then when I went to try the Double Tap perk, it doesn't make the G3 an automatic. It's just weird to me that in the single player missions you can find and use an auto G3 but you can't in the online play ...

It's a balance issue. The G3 is a 2-hit kill with stopping power, has the range of a sniper, and no kick or drawbacks besides it's semi-automatic trait. If it were automatic, it would be far worse than the M16 is now and would be insanely overpowered.
