Memory hacking-Tsearch. Cheat Engine etc

    Resources
    Just find excact value 2-3x times.
    The memories is 4-byte, in order Boxes, Oil, Siberit.
    If Adress of Boxes are B00004a0 then adress of oil is B00004a4
    and siberit is B00004a8 {just plus 4}

    Health
    Full Health have value "1000", just find that excact value whne unit have full health, then wound it, search decreased value, then wound again...

    Experimence
    That took me 20 minutes uff
    For some strange reason, experimence value is multiplied by 30 and add some random number 0-29.
    For example, if you have 1200 in Combat experimence, value in memory will be 36000-36030. Just search values between 2x times, and you will find 2 memories.
    First(with lower adress) is just showing value for selected units(we will use that value latter)
    Second, is value, what we want. Rasie it as much as you want
    The adresses experimence is in order, Combat, Building, Machinery, Science. So when Combat is 0CAAAC adres of Building will be 0CAAAC plus 4 = 0CAAB0 etc., it save some time...

    If you want find adresses of other unit, just select new unit, look at Value of First exp adress we found, then search for excact value...also save much time.

    Hey,

    Whenever I try to use any cheatprogrem with this game I get an exeption and the game closes. How did you get around the cheat protection?

    i know im pretty late on this but in case someone else finds their way here some games you simply need to open CoSMOS before the game in order to get around any anti cheat they have.

    this method works on a game called gadget trial. opening cheat software after the game is open crashes it but opening before you start the game gives you all access pass to cheat as you please.

    if i remember to do so i can post here after i mess around with original war and CoSMOS to see if it works or how to make it work.

    on the off chance you return, could you explain the skills part where it says +4? i really dont understand how ac+4 turns into b0



    also, CoSMOS 6.3 doesnt cause a crash when you open the game first but it will make the game a little more unstable so save often and unfreeze any thing before a mission ends or you hit reset

    Adresseses are in Hexadecimal, means its 10 = 8+8.

    The counting in hexadecimal is:
    1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,1A,1B..

    So 1C+4=20 , 20+4=24...24+4=28 28+4=2C..........

    Tried to find out how the memory protection works. No progress
    I can't believe it's possible to hack super-health but it's impossible to hack crates/oil/siberite.
    I used to hack the game (old version that was released BEFORE anti-cheat protection) - they were 3 subsequent 4 byte addresses.
    Actually it was harder to hack health than resources.
    Any idea just how this system works? What - do they change variables, relocate them in memory, mask the values?

    Finally, with CoSMOS managed this:
    1. Search for an unknown initial value.
    2. Wait for change in resources (ex. +10 crates)
    3. Search for 'Changed value by 10'
    4. Repeat until found a single memory location

    It appears, the amount of resources is added with some random number (or not very random).

    Crates, Oil and Siberite follow each other as 4-byte values.
