Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, the thread in the Mass Effect board hasn't been posted in since my last post.
The current 1.02 Mass Effect trainer does not affect Mako APC health, and the Mako can still be destroyed.
I'm going to post a link to a save on Therum, involving primarily the Mako as transport and combat use, allowing for testing to take place.
Let the enemies wail on the Mako until the shields are down, then the hull itself will start to take damage, which is shown on the little mini-picture of the Mako starting to flash red.
Note: It is a free anonymous account, which means the file will be deleted after 10 downloads or 90 days from today (9/6/2009).

Thanks PWizard. I know it takes time to make and fix trainers, especially with more titles coming out seemingly at every turn.

I can try to get one if I can figure out how to disable Bring Down the Sky, but I think the only things that are different are added on, not changed.
My save only has Bring Down the Sky, and I'm not about to spend $5 on Pinnacle Station.
Do you know how to temporarily disable Bring Down the Sky without a reinstall? I lost my disc and can't reinstall the game without it sadly.

I also found out that the pointer options don't work either. Pointer Kill and Pointer Heal don't work as of the 1.02 trainer.

No, it won't blacklist your key, since thats what people do when they get their keys stolen (ex:me, but I don't know with Mass Effect, with Call of Duty, it works).
