"An interesting fact, it costs the Cheathappens team about $500 to create a trainer for a game. They have to buy the game, take time out of their own lives to install it, sift through the code, figure what to change and how to change it without making your computer explode, bypass game security, and keep it updated. And they do this for dozens and dozens of games. All the time."

    Really?
I'm a mod at a very big multiplayer game hacking website, and it takes us about 2-3 days to code hacks and not much money except what we spent on our pepsi and cheetos. lol

"With that logic you can also say that farmers are greedy. And car manufactures are greedy. I mean...can't people just grow their own food and make their own cars?! Damn! Greedy people! They don't need MONEY for their WORK.

Secondly, you are not paying for those other features. They are added bonuses for your contribution whether that contribution be in the form of currency or a guide for a game."

    Car manufacturers are greedy.
    Everyone is greedy.
I understand that these people did some work and they should be compensated for it
I'm not asking for it ALL to be free
Besides, these people didn't make the trainers then release them to people who gave them money, they made the trainers FOR the money

"A manufacturer of a specific product can set his own price based on demand, supply and personal benefit....They don't force you to play a game with a trainer, if you think that trainers should be used after the completion then why do you want the trainer anyway?"
I understand that they have the right to price it however they want
I'm not trying to start a damn rebellion
I'm merely expressing my opinion and seeing who agrees with me
And I want the trainer because I played through the game without doing every single little side quest, and with a trainer I could without having to spent hours upon hours
I just want the gratification of completing them all :/

"Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow? No, says the man in Washington, it belongs to the poor. No, says the man in the Vatican, it belongs to God. No, says the man in Moscow, it belongs to everyone. No, says the douchebag n00b, it's too easy so it should be free."
I never insulted you, or anyone else
I am under the impression that you aren't allowed to "bash" or "flame" another user
Besides, no one uses n00b anymore. :/

    "Not hard huh?
I like to see you try Code Shifting.
You do know what that is, because you dont think its hard :P
But I doubt we will see you come back.
But hey you think you know what to do, why not start your own CheatHappens with a different name of course. Yes?"

    Hmm.
I've never been able to use one of their trainers other than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl so I wouldn't know if they do code shifting or simple memory editing
Code shifting is a lot harder, I will admit that
And no, I'm not going to make my own site with a different name
I'll steal your name because I'm just so evil like that

"I'm a mod at a very big multiplayer game hacking website."

Congratulations! Go edit someone's post! What's the name of this site called anyway? I'm abit curious.

    "Everyone is greedy"

Then you can admit that YOU'RE being greedy and saying how you wouldn't pay $6.00 for a trainer. Was it $25 dollars for a year? Oh wait, that's unlimited trainers for an entire year! That doesn't seem very greedy to me. That's pretty cheap of you. Then again, you're probably the fool holding up the line at McDonald because you have to order the sandwhiches off the dollar menu

"I'm merely expressing my opinion and seeing who agrees with me"

You've been registered on this site for only a few hours I'm assuming, since you've on joined today (July 30th). Either you have been all over this site and developed this "opinion" of yours, or you're from another site (Which you've stated), and here to try and pick off some users from here to go to your "very big multiplayer hacking site".

I don't see what kind of business you have here, even though you state that you're just wanting to "Share your opinion".

Aiden has not been disrespectful as of yet to anyone here, and is simply providing some feedback on how he views our pricing. However, I'm seeing a number of site vets going up in arms at the slightest sign that this site may be in some way imperfect, and that disappoints me, most of you are doing a very poor job representing CHU. Any further abuse will be punished.

We do offer many trainers for free. We also offer many of our pay-only trainers on specific limited free for the weekend releases the last I checked.

However, CHU is a business, one that isn't exactly cheap to run. The price that has been set by the founders is one that is able to support the overhead, and pay the employee wages. We offer a multitude of ways of getting trainers for free, the most notable is the author program which someone linked earlier if I'm not mistaken.

I got dropped so an ex-mod could have his place back

    MickeyD'S?!
    Hell nah
    I almost never eat there
And when I do, I order the chicken sandwich off the dollar menu 'cuz that stuff is the bomb! lol

I will admit I do a LOT of spamming and advertising on rival hacking sites pretending to be a disgruntled customer, but this time I'm serious
I've checked out a lot of this site
There are some nice releases here, but even though I am obtaining my games in a less costly way *ahem* I still can't even afford to buy myself a new wallet for the money I had just spent on the wallet

    Thank you for the response.
I know why you are disappointed in them, but at the same time you have to feel some pride.
It takes time to build an army!
    But yes, the Author program
I'm looking into that at the moment actually
And the reason I actually found this site was Google-ing a trainer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky version 1.5.08
I can't patch my game any higher for reasons i again cannot mention *ahem* >.>
I know CHU is a business, and I know running a business is hard
But I think it would be a bit more beneficial if you didn't price all trainers at $6 but rather price them based on work done and size of the game

    Just a side question though
Why is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadows of Chernobyl free but Clear Skies isn't? lol

Having to take the time to price and reprice every single trainer would be silly and pointless. It would be like having to pay 50 cents for one soft drink and 25 for another. It's easier to make them cost the same because the price would always be around $6 anyway.

Of course not, if they didnt agree they wouldnt be regulars.

Like I always say, if someone wants to sell their hard work finding options etc into a trainer then good for them. Its their time and effort that is being paid for, and Caliber usually will update a trainer for any recent patches for games also. Not many groups do that.

One thing I will say multiplayer hacks suck bollocks, trainers are mostly (not always) for single player usage where the only affected people are the people who use the trainer, hacks in MP games affect other people also.

Writing scripts etc for hacks is not comparable to Code Injection and Shifting, its 2 different things all together. Although I have seen some trainers that affect MP also, its mostly bots and scripts though.

Simply put if you dont like what is happening here, why come here and post? It wasnt going to change anything in the end, Pwiz wasn't going to say oh dear Aiden is not happy about the pricing structure but thousands of others are happy - I must change it for Aiden.

Or maybe join the queue of the kids out there who complain that ALL trainers must be free, because the majority of trainers in the past was. Kids and Broadband = idiots who would steal anything that is on P2P networks etc, so they really have no say in things.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

So you are a spammer & a pirate, worked for a multiplayer hacking site, calls US a hacking site and you think we should give away all our stuff because there is hardly any work behind it anyway?

I'm tempted to ban you just for the hell of it...
