North American version? There is only one version, and that's the Steam version.

Downloaded the trainer and loaded it up.
Hit F1 at main menu and got activated message.
Start solo game.
Hit options on numpad and received message that the option was activated but nothing happens. I still die and receive no money etc, etc.
Any advice?

I do believe there was a patch recently. CH may not have gotten around to making a new one yet, give it time. And make sure you activate the options once your character has actually spawned, and you're sitting there with a gun and what-not.
I'm not one to brag about my financial skills, but my credit card company calls me almost every day to tell me my balance is outstanding.
