What is it about Steam that I can't check my gaming stats in the evening? Steam just refuses to load the pages. I get even less luck in browsers.
STEAM sucks. They desperately need help with their system.

Also you should try to change your location @ settings to your country. Otherwise it may try to connect some server on other end of the world.

Steam was bugy @ beginning, but now it is best platform for gaming...
That is why most developers sell games about steam.

Small proggy which have to be run on game start is irritating, unless they are trainers.
And this STEAM is a good way of game distribution ONLY. It really pi**es me off when I have to wait for huge updates in a mandatory basis and run it everytime I run my game.
You can turn updates off, where is the problem?
I think it's great thing to chat ingame and share something.
So it's great platform for onlinegaming.
For single player you can start steam in offline modus and play^^
well let's say .. if you wanna play counter strike source offline.. steam doesn't let me to open it in offline mode. only online it let;s me.

Well my bandwidth is too less and STEAM has to update my games or they won't run.
That's why I search for cracks to stop this and hardly find any...
