I've recently rebuilt my PC and dug out hellgate london in an attempt to finally complete it on nightmare, started on Saturday gone, built up my character, nicely bumped up to lvl 45 and trailed around cleaning off some old missions, all fine and well.
Up until just now, I set about doing the run from Monument Station to Liverpool St Station and at lvl 46 now, was hitting up against lvl 51 targets, so I decided to restart the game, this time with the trainer, and give myself some more levels.
Unfortunately, it now doesnt work.
Sequence of events: Start trainer. Start game. F1 = "Trainer Activated" Load character. Engage cheat = "Activated" Nothing happens. If I ask for more money, its deposited into my wallet, but then the moment I actually buy anything, it resets back to where ever it was.
I've tried running both the game and trainer in normal mode, in admin mode, one in admin and one in normal, all with the same failure to function.
I seem to be having the same kind of problem. Although the message im getting is "No Disk" and I fixed that by putting it into the same folder. Now it's just crashing right after it said "ACTIVATED". I have tried everything and read through the trouble shooter and nothing. What do I do
Are you running Service Pack 1 of Windows Vista - because that has stopped my trainer working.
I started out with the basic Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit), everything worked a treat. Didn't need Admin or Compatibilty or anything.
I've just updated Windows to Vista Service Pack 1 - and nada.
Tried Admin on Trainer, Launcher and even the Game EXE itself - nope. Tried Compat modes on the same - zilch. Tried running Game then Trainer, Trainer then game - zippo.
Ever since I installed Service Pack 1 it's hasn't worked.
I always get my Trainers for CheatHappens, so going to check to my other games, but I'm not hopefull.
I suppose it's back to boring grinding for Levels and Palladium again.
