after sierra was closed the release date was under question, but i guess its still the same. iv even heard they got a new publisher, cont know who tho.

Serria didn't close, Serria Closed Impression games, the company in charge. They only did it because of the merge with Blizzard. If their standards didnt meet Bliz and activisions then they would not be kept with the company.

hmmm it merged with activbliz? thats actually not bad. i only know that ghostbusters and brutal legend are under question. the first has eventually been saved, not sure about the crazy-metal-project tho.

Activision merged w/ Vivendi. The game was in development by Sierra which was dropped and in need of new publishers. Sony Pictures holds the rights to Ghostbusters who licensed it to Vivendi stated for the record that the game will be released in 2009 which coincides with the original movie's 25th anniversary.
