Quest: A proposal that cannot be refused.

Pampa wants you to go hunting for boars, and when you trigger the start of the hunt a timer starts. Have managed to kill all the boars numerous times within the time limit, but the quest never ends. Can anyone tell me what you need to do to complete this quest?

I don't have a solution here, but I can tell you that I'm stuck in the exact same place too. It's starting to look like a bug to me.

In the meantime, I've decided to skip this quest, put it in the backburner, and go on with the other quests, such as searching for Brother Rudie in North Arkanar. He's supposed to be at the smuggler camp at the beach, but I can't find him, and I don't feel like searching all of North Arkanar.

Thirdly, I can't find the missing ship captain who was kidnapped as part of the secondary quest to get a rich passenger in North Arkanar an alternative ship. He's supposed to be at the old monk's prison camp, but there's nothing there.

I've finally passed through this stage. And for the life of me, I don't really know what I did differently this time that allowed me to pass through it. I think maybe one thing to look for is to follow the instructions super-precisely. That is, use exactly the kind of weapon that King Pampa wants you to use on the boars. He wants you to use only two-handed blade weapon, such as a heavy sword. Therefore one-handed swords won't do, and neither will dual rapiers that are basically dual one-handed weapons. I went to a local blacksmith to buy the biggest two-handed blade he had, simply to make massacring those boars a lot easier. I've also now been able to meet with Brother Rudie, which I mentioned was not working a little while ago.
