Anyways, got a big history test tomorrow. Augh. Oh, and do any of you folks watch "The Biggest Loser"?
It may sound dumb, but I think it's really inspirational. I've actually cried once because the situation was so emotional...
Many people do not know this but many years ago I lost 55 Kgs(121 Pounds) in about an one year period. I did it all by myself, no help, no personal trainers, no support, now that is more then most people on that show lose. I find that show insulting, but that is just me. I think it sends the wrong message to others who want to lose weight. By the way I am now 65 KGs and muscular.
We don't have that show here and I've never watched so I can't really comment on it. Were you a teenager when you lost the weight? It's usually easier for teenagers to lose weight. As you get older your activity levels decrease therefore so does muscle (turns into body fat).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.
@ Sophie_Angel - I was about 18 to 20 years old when I started, and trust me it was hard as hell. The only reason those shows bug me are because they send out the completely wrong message about weight loss. I just don't think it is something that should be publicly exploited like that. Me being through something like that, I personally would of be ashamed to go on TV for that.
