It also happens to my pc. But I have a solution for you. First, try to uninstall the "AEGIA Physix". Also delete the folder. It is a driver which NVIDIA made for certain gfx cards. Then, try to install the "AEGIA Physix" again.

I uninstalled it but forgot were and how to reinstall it. god why didn't they just release a patch or something?

Well, I just looked around, and found a link, so figured I'd post it here despite the post being 6 months old - maybe it'll save someone else a few seconds or something...
You should be able to download the latest Aegia Ageia Aegai/Aegezus/Bugeezus/WhateverItsCalled from:
www.nvidia.com/object/physx_system_software.html
Currently (May 23rd, 2009) it redirects to:
www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0408_whql.html
But should (I imagine) redirect to newer versions as they're available.
I haven't even tried it yet, so can't say if it helps my stability with this game or not - but I can run it already.. it's just a bit unstable, particularly running one of the trainers. (just tried the CH trainer and the dR.oLLe so far)
