Yea I had a computer that met the processor reqs but not for the graphic card, so the game would always just crash. I used to not pay attention to those reqs, but not I spent lavishly on a computer so I can ignore them on purpose.

i cant seem to understand why 32 bit works better for gaming then 64....but you shoudl get XP if possible.
many things wont work with vista, and if so, they are complicated, so try 'Running this game as Administartor' that fixes most problems with games.i think it crashes because it doesent have the right to run it by you 'run as administraitoi' so it crashes. try that.

i have a similar problem.
i have a notebook HP530, i think its enough to run game.
there was no problem in instalation, and it starts as well, but... when i try to deploy a power plant it crashes down - closes down.
i've already instaled updated drivers, and nothing happens...
Please help, i bought this game and i can't play it.
O.S is Vista 32bit.

It is just weird. i already patch to 1.9.
the game works fine but the trainer seems not working.
i press shift(hold) + E. Fog of war still there. anyone can help me with this problem. i can hear the sound something like activated or deactivated. even when it says activated, fog of war still there. not just fog of war, for money, invincible or any cheat also not working.

Sounds like AV program or something else on your computer is blocking it.
