does this prey trainer work with steam? i bought prey from another digital distribution company that folded, they gave steam my license. for that game. i have no reason to buy a dvd version.

I know this thread is old, but I have exactly the same question. Prey is one of the FEW games that can be "activated" on Steam using the retail CD-key, and I did that a while back for convenience. My copy of Prey is now the Steam version. Will the trainer work? I know this is an older game now, but it's still very unique among first-person shooters. Thanks!

The trainer doesn't connect to the internet for authentication, but it still says "Customized for: predcon". Is this part of the new security measures? Is this trainer even supposed to be Unlimited Only anymore?

Did you place the trainer in the same folder with an offline key?
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
