I have tried dozens of times to teleport to the control panel. I figure I have to use the "E" button to deactivate the laser with the computer there. I hit the "Q" button, then use the LMB, as directed. When do I use the LMB? I see a little moving gage when q is activated. When I move while that is activated I am extremly slow and cannot make it to the panel/laser. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to make that gage last longer?

You have to aim with the mouse once the teleport is activated. When you see the white light in the cursor, hit the LMB and you teleport. Once you're on the other side of the laser, face the computer screen and hit the use button and that deactivates the laser. You will teleport back to the start point afterwards.
