How exactly do you 'find' Latias/Latios?

Well once one of them has been released (Latias for me), it appears on the Hoenn map, but when I fly, surf, walk etc. to that exact location, I look again on the map and it is in a different place! I know that they are proven to flee at any sign of danger, but this is ridiculous.

Is there any possible way to find Latias in the exact location it appears, without it fleeing to somewhere else? 🤔

Umm, your not "allowed" to fly there, because latias will fly away. Mainly, what im doing is checking where it is.. then if its not close to me, fly again to move its spot. then check again to see if its close, and if its not, fly somewhere else again etc.

Ok thanks for your help! I see what you mean, each time you use fly, it detects it, so you use fly to move it closer to your location! I'll try that someday, thanks again!

I just stayed in one spot for ages battling wild pokemon, and eventually it came to me, but i dont recommend that as it takes ages.

I just believe in my luck.. I always try not to use fly 'cause PokeNav-registered trainers want to challenge me when I run trough their route and I never use repel because I really WANT those shinies.. And some time, the next wild Pokemon seems to be a little biger and.. Tadaah! It is Latios.
