I know there are two achievement lists for the PC and the xbox 360 version but can you get 2000 points out of both of these games or does it just count as one game and you can only get 1000 points?

I believe they're separate. I've played the 360 version for a good six hours or so and on the PC version it still dings when I get Achievements I've already got, as it were.

Yes, I found out that they are two seperate achievement lists. So overall you can get 2000Gs, yey!!!
