i can't remember, i think i had a install file somewhere when i got bf2142 off ealink, but i can't remember, have a look around the options and see if theres any install file. but its likely you simply have the x64 stuff only on your comp as it means less to download, less bandwidth and slightly cheaper for EA.

not sure what the rules are here tbh, but, as long as you've got a key, you could borrow a dvd off a friend, or, if there was any cough*other*cough way to get a copy of the dvd. considering you have bought it, and have a key, its not exactly a big deal.

It works not with 86 Files i have tryed it yesterday. I copied the Files but dont work. Run the x86 Install works but game dont want to start. Only wait vor 64 Bit Trainers from Cheathappens ... its not so hard to create i think?

yes, you have to install it in 32bit on a separate 32bit system, update that 32bit install, once updated(the updated does two bits, press finish and it will pop up after a few seconds and update 28 files, quite slowly), copy the new updated x86 folders, then go back to 64bit computer, install 64bit, update, THEN stick the folders you copied from other system into the 64bit install. then start trainer for patched version, use the .exe in the single player x86 folder and it works.

its the way EA download works to stop you sharing the files round all you can try doing it logging into ea's site from a 32 bit machine and see if it will let you redownload and install it again.

ea are taking alot of crap over the system they use as basicaly after a while if your pc crashes and you loose the install you would have to pay to get the game again as they only give access to the files for a limited time.

Hey my friend has a 64bit system and all she did was to open up the dvd and used the HGL_x86 Windows installer package. Now for some reason it wouldn't launch from the quick lauch that's added to the desktop so she had to goto the folder itself and launch the game from there, she says it works fine

but it wont update as the patch will always detect the x64 pc and try to patch the x64 version that isnt installed.

There's no way for one of us, with the 64bit version some how converts the 32bit trainer to 64bit, what does that involve?

or, could we get a trainer that looks for the the 64bit version aswell? maybe it still can work?
