It does work... others have seen it work. Again, check the other thread. The game itself won't let you go beyond a certain point that it thinks you should be at.. probably a check put in place for the multiplayer portion of the game that's affecting single player as well. We're still looking into it a bit to see if it can be improved or worked around.

The number 5 option does allow you level up your character. But when you exit the game it does not save your skills. I have been playing the game since yesterday. Health works, attributes works, power works, experience works, palladium works, skills does not work. I am using Windows xp pro, 32 bit version. My game is the retail version. Not the special edition.

again, this is all covered in the other thread. like I said, the game detects that you are above where it thinks you should be and may revert you back after saving. this is not the fault of the trainer it's a protection built into the game. we're still looking to see if there's any way around it or not.

If that was correct. Then why does the game allow the attributes cheat to work. Right now my character
Health is 3025. His magic limit is 2015. I have over 150, 000 in palladium. I believe the number 5 option
    Just doesn’t work.

I refuse to argue with you any more about this. If the option was NOT WORKING AT ALL then you would see no change when using it. The issue is with the game's save routine. We don't know why it looks at skills differently than everything else and reverts it back, we're still researching it. Please bare with us.

we don't know. that's just it. there is some sort of check to see if your skills are out of bounds and then your character is reset (similar to what used to happen in titan quest if you messed around with the files, etc.)

if we knew the answer we would let you know. the trainer does absolutely NOTHING different coding the attributes portion as it does for the skills portion. Both numbers are injected to the same struct via the same code which is part of the same function in the game. there is no good answer here.

maybe someone will experiment more and tell us how much skills you can have before reset, etc.

for now, this is all we know.

    best,
    Cal

I am not arguing with you. Just trying to make a point. The point being there is no way
to make the skills cheat work. I am very happy with this trainer. I think the problem is the game does not have a save system. This is first RPG that I have played that doesn’t have a save system. If I had known I would not have purchased this game.
