Unreal Tournament 3 Message Board  

There was an article in Computer and video games which stated various graphic cards which wouldn't be able to play UT3, and they said the 7900GTX was the lowest that the game would allow.

I have 7800GT SLI and have had no problems so far, a little on the slow side for loading matches but fine on the graphics and no stutter.

As for the demo you get single player death match, team death match, capture the flag and duel and two maps. So get your demo now as it's under a gig. The game is good stuff although the maps are a little small compared to UT2.

UT3 will work on graphics cards as low as the 6200, but gameplay is limited even on a 7600 GT OC>

I have an 8800 Ultra GTX SLi enabled.

By the way I have had my xfire friends test this game, you can run max graphics at a 6900 or lower! (Any higher is the same of course)

Thats whats so good about Unreal Tournament games, you can play them no matter what your computers shape is in!

Aha. Try to play UT3 on big screen (at least 1680x1050 as mine is) and u'll see how it goes You wont be able to get max graphics on 6900 I have 6600 and i have about 15 FPS with min graphics!!! But im gonna buy 8800 GTS soon and ill get good perfomance and quality

running it on a 7900gt at a rez of 1440x900 not sure how high the graphics are but it runs smooth as anything and looks great it only needs the same spec as bioshock and i ran that on max no problems as well.

I'm playing UT3 on 1024x768 on maxed out performance and i have GF7950GT.

ivw tried on my 8800GTX, my other rig 8600GTS, and my laptop thats a 7600GT, all worked great, no problems at all, of course the CPU, RAM, and video card (except the GTX, i only get a 5% OC out of it) so i dont really have any complaints of slow gameplay or load times, when compared to the witcher especially these load times are godly!

also who buys alienware mate? go custom for the real performance! and cheaper as well ><

I play UT3 with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS videocard. (And yes,every graphics options are maxed)
