Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - Shivering Isles Message Board  

I got my copy of Shivering Isles yesterday and now that i have completed it twice already i decided to go back over it and get some of the quest codes, some of you may remember them from oblivion, well they'll be released soon.

i'll be updating them every so often when i have another few quests to put in, so far it covers all the main story quets.

and as with oblivion i shall be posting quest stages here on request.

Hey Troodon, nice to see you again . I hope you can help me out because I'm stuck at the place when you have to get a branch from the Tree of Shades. I get to that spot with that Standing Stone in the middle of a little pond. I activate the stone but nothing happens! So I've went through the whole place (ruins and caves) and I found this Amulet of Disintegration. I put it on and do the same process again but I don't get squat?! What am I supposed to do?

well, actually i didn't activate it, i steped into the pool and it activated itself, then a "reflection" of myself appeared, i killed it, then went over to the tree of shades and activated it. first you enter, obviously, then you turn right, i think, then fall down a hole, go down turn left and there should be a pool in front of you just step into it. if it doesn't work let me know andi'll give you the quest code to finish

oh and by the way have you already gotten the eye of ciirta, if not go and get it, that's how i did it and it worked.

Yes, I did get the eye of Ciirta. Could it be that I'm invisible? I removed the invisibility after I entered, but I'll try again... In the meantime, please try to find a quest code.

hey, i had the same problem on my game, i have tried everything, could you please send me the code (My e-mail is callum.gala@virgin.net) and the cheat to get passed the collecting of the tree root. thankyou.

Right, I just got back to that stage myself, for some reason no matter how many times i play Oblivion I never seem to get any of the problems... ah.. never mind.

SE11 0

SE11 5 Now that I have secured the stronghold of the Golden Saints, I should speak to Sheogorath about our next step.

SE11 10 Sheogorath has vanished before we could complete the plan to stop the forces of Order. Perhaps Haskill will know what steps we should take.

SE11 20 Before I can claim the Throne of Madness and stop the forces of Order, I must remake the Staff of Sheogorath. Haskill has advised me to seek out a remnant of the great library of Jyggalag in Knifepoint Hollow.

SE11 30

SE11 35 I've spoken with Dyus about the staff of Sheogorath. He is the remnant of the library that Haskill spoke of.

SE11 45

SE11 50 In order to remake the Staff of Sheogorath, Dyus requires two items. I must seek out the Eye of Ciirta and a Branch of the Tree of Shades. The first is an eye that has seen something that no other has. I can acquire this item from a woman named Ciirta in the Howling Halls. The second item is a branch of the Tree of Shades, an ancient tree that grows in the Grove of Reflection in the ruins of Milchar.

SE11 100 I've spoken with one of Ciirta's followers outside of the Howling Halls. She said that I should be safe inside so long as I wear the robes of the Apostles and do not take any suspicious action. If I can avoid confrontation, I might be able to make it to Ciirta without alerting all of them.

SE11 101

SE11 105 I've been approached by a Khajiit named Ra'kheran. He has offered to kill Ciirta for me if I assist him in his plan to take over the Apostles of the Song. As he cannot be seen gathering weapons, he's asked me to bring him three Apostle Daggers. If he carries this plan out, I should be able to take Ciirta's eye after she is dead.

SE11 110 I've accepted Ra'kheran's offer. He wants me to bring him three Apostle Daggers. He will then carry out his revolt against Ciirta and I should be able to retrieve her eye.

SE11 111 Ra'kheran is dead. Without his help, I'll have to kill Ciirta myself.

SE11 112 I have collected the three daggers that Ra'kheran has asked for. I should return to him so that he can kill Ciirta.

SE11 115 I've given Ra'kheran the daggers that he needs to begin his revolt against Ciirta. I should follow him and retrieve Ciirta's eye once she is dead.

SE11 140 Ra'kheran's betrayal of Ciirta has been successful. Now that she is dead, taking her eye should be a simple matter.

SE11 191 I've have Ciirta's eye. I should now seek out the second item that I need to create the Staff of Sheogorath.

SE11 150 I've arrived in the Grove of Reflection. According to Dyus, I must locate the Tree of Shades and find a way to reveal my true self before I will be allowed to take one of its branches.

SE11 155

SE11 160 After I approached the Grove Of Reflection, a shadowy image of myself appeared from the waters of the grove and attacked me. I defeated it, and now the Tree of Shades is beckoning to me...

SE11 190 As Dyus requested, I've taken a branch of the Tree of Shades. I should now seek out Ciirta in the Howling Halls.

SE11 195 I have both items that Dyus needs to recreate the Staff of Sheogorath. I should return to Knifepoint Hollow and speak with him.

SE11 200 With the Staff of Sheogorath now in my possession, I should make my way to the Tree of Madness in Sheogorath's throne room. There I can tap into the tree's power and begin my transformation.

Can you give the quest stages for:
Fork of Horripilation (Big Head got killed by an NPC before I could get the quest and I resurrected him, but he won't give me the quest now.

Ive' completed it except for The Amulet of Disintegration. If you have the item code that would be great also. I'm handicapped and just can't get those sconces lit fast enough to finish the quest without dropping torch.

for anybody who wants side quest codes will have to wait about two days. it's taken longer than expected to find them. so i'll be back here to post when i get them, as i get them. sorry for the delay.
