When you move out of your moms house, buy a lot of cool stuff. Then when you see the burgler call the police and catch it because your insurance gives you $2500 and the police gives you $1000.

When you play get a life mode, you start out with not a lot of money. So when you are at your moms house sell everything, because whatever you make in the last round will get carried to the next round. Do this with all the levels because there are only 7 levels.

BIG MONEY There is also another way to get 30 000 bucks. Buy 30 hot tubs or 30 dome trees.Save it and restart your PS2 go back into your neighbourhood and reopen the house u did that in. you will end up with 3000 bucks for your sims.
BONUS: if you do both of them(dome and the hot tub) then u will end up with around 600 000 bucks for ur sims.
