if the clock isn't going and it wont save, it'll probably be that the internal battery is dead so you'll need a new game probably.
It sounds like the berry glitch to me.
To fix the clock link it up to colleum.
Or greenleaf/redfire.
i agree with potato_chips! that happened to my cousin and his emerald game. when he went to the game store and ask what was wrong, the guy behind the counter said "that the game was probably damaged on the inside because u kept taking it in and out of your game system"

i realy dont because from the time i bought the game it was already dameged so i think it is from the game store and i will go there and try to change it
