Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age Message Board  

Does anyone really think there will be a Golden Sun 3?

I read about it somewhere, the person made a strategy guide online and at the end said there might be a Golden Sun 3, i doubt there will be because it says "THE END" at the end of Golden Sun 2.


Just tell me if you believe Camelot will make a Third.

It would definitely make sense if they decided to make a third GS. After all, at the end of GS2, Alex is given somewhat stronger powers, as well as a longer lifespan, and although he falls into the earth or something like that, we don't know if he survives or lives. Plus, the whole conflict between the Wise One and Felix and Isaac and the crew is based on two predictions.

-Felix's party believes that if Alchemy is restored, men can work together to prevent it from being misused and thus destroying Weyard. So the world MIGHT be destroyed, and it might not.
-For some reason, the Wise One thinks that man is useless, stupid, and evil, and therefore we might as well give up now than fight to stop someone from hogging all the power for themselves. Cutting off Alchemy will DEFINITELY destroy the world.

Now that Alchemy has been restored, we don't know if man will destroy the world or not, so not much has been resolved at this point. There is still much to be done.

I doubt this will ever be read, but has anyone seen the fake video/picture of GS3? Was about a year ago, and I saw a huge uprising from it and Camelot would be stupid to not make a 3rd eventually. Yes, it did say The End, but also, there are a lot of questions to be answered. Did Alex survive when Mt Aleph crumbled down? Is Alchemy truely going to not be used for evil in the world of Weyard? I doubt that it would... I did also hear that there may be an eventual GS3 on DS, because the creators don't want to make a half-assed game and disappoint the fans...
