and no, I don't mean message board threads. I mean the tiny bits of string that make up fabric. Ive recently bought sheets that run a 400 thread count for $30 (keep in mind that 200 thread sheets are usualy the peak of softness when people think sheets), when I got home and opened them up, I saw the actual price tag...$100, yes for sheets. But the store was having a 70% off sale lucky me. Its like sleeping on the hide of a dead animal, except there's never been an animal with fur this soft. So here I am, with the most expensive piece of cloth Ive ever owned, and the rest of my bed set doesnt match. This is where you come in.
The sheets I bough are dark brown, I believe the actual name is "Coffee Bean" I bought them because brown is the base for anything that looks authentically retro, and as some of you may know, I'm retro. And I'm debating weather to use lime green or a burnt orange as the secondary color. I already have a small green microfiber throw which is even softer than the sheets, But I also have this awesome brown and orange pillow with a mushroom on it, which is very retro.
So whats your opinion, lime green or burnt orange...which wins in retroness. Which is the grooviest of them all.

i'd go with burnt orange...it seem's to fit the color better.

As much as I was leaning towards green, I'm going to go with orange, While browsing around the Internet, I found this awesome bed set, and its as close to retro as i'm going to get without spending twice as much as I did on the sheets.
