when i tried putting it in the base folder i still got a directory error- can anyone help please. If it helps i have vista ultimate 32-bit and can easily play the game. Please can someone make a suggestion.
I have the same issue. It says it can't find JK2SP.exe, and that I need to put the trainer in the Game Directory. Both of which are utter nonsense, since I put it in the gamedata file where JK2SP.Exe is located.
It's a compatibility issue with Vista, I assume. I am having the same problem under Vista (x64).
I thought it might have been problem with security levels but even right-clicking and choosing "Run As Administrator" didn't help and it still couldn't find the program.
It does provide a different result when trying to set the trainer to run in any compatibility mode, such as XP SP2 for example (right click the program, "Compatibility" tab.) When set to run in any of the compatibility modes, when you run the trainer and select "Launch Game" the trainer crashes. That's what leads me to believe it is an issue for people running Vista.
I don't see any work-around (besides using the in-game cheat console) and I highly doubt the original author will be releasing an updated version that works with Vista for a game from 2002. That's just the way it goes.
