yeah, just discovered this, really annoying, My super high attributes are all reset to low numbers.
Just wanted to mention that the zero inventory weight makes none of your gear apply to the character, so zero armor zero poise etc.
It's not an easy game to train so some things might not work as they should and I don't think if I could improve them considering how weirdly the game is coded and most of the values are encrypted.

not if you duped them, they reset to lower values. You have to completly exit the game to see this change, if you just exit to menu, then reload, it looks like the attributes stay duper, but if you exit the client and reload, they revert to lower stats
