Depends what you were trying to do. If you wantèd to switch in offline mode of Aurora you must unplug your internet cable or deactivate your network adapter. If you didnt wanted to use the offline mode, then Aurora was unable to reach our server for various reasons.
As of now I can login without an issue so I guess the problem is on your end?

I'm just trying to log in. Do you know what could be causing it?

A firewall can cause it. Or a VPN. Or a proxy if you have set it up in either your system or Aurora. Or some super weird scenarios where traffic is sent to a wrong network interface. Or a DNS issue. Or your antivirus went crazy.
From distance without knowing whats running on your computer or how your computer was set up its really hard to tell.
