I've just tried it on some other games and they did pretty much the same but I just tried launching aurora on its own for the first time since I downloaded the tool and it's not launching at all now. Should I try installing everything from scratch?

First thing you could try is a simple reboot. Maybe there are left over processes. Otherwise yeah, something on your end is blocking it. Would also explain your issues with Steamtinkerlauncher. Its definitely not an issue on our launcher or Aurora.

Tool works for other games though so it's still good. Just isn't compatible with midnight suns for some reason.

I found the issue with marvel midnight suns. A SD tool update will be posted in the next days along with other fixes.

Hello

After you purchase the tool, where is the tool download sent and when is it sent? I have not recieved link to the tool yet after purchasing. (Trying to run it without the tool was not successful - Mod Organiser tries to load for whatever reason and closes game immediately)

Any help would be highly appreciated!

I can’t seem to be able to select a proton version to run with the tool. When I open the tool launcher, it shows that a proton version has not been selected. However, when I try to select one with the drop-down menu, no versions appear to be able to select one. I just did a complete factory reset of my Steam Deck also so this should have been a fully clean install

You dont have to select a proton version, the tool automatically chooses one. If no Proton version is available in the drop down list it means no Proton is installed yet. You could just install a game, open the game properties in Steam and instead of AuroraLauncher you pick idk Proton 8.0. Steam will then download this proton version. After you should be able to select it in the SD Tool.
