Still not convinced? We are currently in an OPEN BETA phase of the tool where anyone and everyone may download it and check it out.

In order to use this tool you must have a Cheat Happens member account (Link). In order to use all of the cheats in Aurora you will also need a Cheat Happens PREMIUM ACCOUNT (monthly or higher - Link). Please be aware that this is not some kind of universal launcher like SteamTinker. It has been specifically designed for use with our Aurora all-in-one trainer management software.

This thread will serve as an open discussion and troubleshooting for the app. We may open up a dedicated message board in the future.

Lastly, please understand that this tool is NOT REQUIRED to get Aurora up and running on the Steam Deck. We have instructions (Link), a video tutorial (Link) and helpful FAQ (Link) on how to do this on your own, however many users get tripped up on one or more of these manual tasks which is why we created this tool.

We truly hope this tool makes your experience with your Steam Deck and Aurora a much better one. It was a HUGE effort to bring this to market.

Does premium members need to pay 10$ too after beta ends?

Does this need to be in desktop mode to work? When i launch a game in desktop, I have to close the launcher (sits there at stopped) and it opens aurora and runs the game again. The problem is i cant switch to aurora after it launches the game.

In game mode It doesn't seem to start the games after launch, I start it but it just sits on stopped. I close the launcher and it pops up again and loads things or the game just starts without Aurora popping up. In game mode, i can close Aurora after opening game settings and closing it, then it launches Aurora doesn't minimize (Star Ocean 2, aurora minimizes and doesnt open back up with cyberpunk).

You mentioned several different issues. It would be the best if you could provide me the name of the game and instructions how to reproduce them. The more precise you are the better I can take a look at it.

The tool was designed for desktop mode in first place because this is how it works the best (with all kind of launchers). Especially if you want to switch to Aurora. But its not limited to desktop mode only.

If you want to switch to Aurora please make sure you enabled the developer mode in Steamdeck. If that doesnt help try to run the game windowed. In other cases a game will steal focus no matter what you do. This kinda depends on the game.

Alright, so for game mode Developer mode helped with Star Ocean 2 in game mode, i can swap between Aurora and star ocean fine now. Thank you!! The problem is when I start the launcher it doesn't load Aurora or the game and i have to close the launcher.

This happens with all games.

In Game Mode:
Launch Game
AuroraLauncher Loads with Aurora Status, Game Status: Stopped.
Click Edit Game Settings
Press Steam Button to bring up the menu
Open Game Menu and select Aurora Steam Deck Tool and Press X on controller to close
Aurora Launcher Relaunches and opens Game and Aurora.

In Desktop Mode:
Launch Game
Aurora Steamdeck Tool Opens
Press X and close out of the window it opens again and loads as it's supposed to.

If I have understood you correctly then basically "restarting" the app fixes it? Then I might know where the problem is. I will take a look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the information.

The problem has been identified and will be fixed in next version.
