Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

Dear support Team,

I had never had any problems with Aurora until today. I am able to start the program and see the interface for approximately two seconds, then it breaks down. Running on Windows10.

AV is turned off completely, I have additionally also excluded the folder it is installed. Firewall is sett accordingly as well.

Log in the Aurora folder only shows this per start:

09:27: Saved settings

please redownload Aurora and try again

0xc0000374 is STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION exception. I expect that a module is corrupted / faulty. If re-downloading Aurora doesn't help, try holding down the SHIFT key when opening Aurora. Click through the message boxes until it asks to disable HW acceleration, choose yes.

Otherwise it might be a corrupted system module. Open cmd.exe as admin and run "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow" without quotes.

I have redownloaded the newest Version 1.8.0, deleted the Folder and installed it again.

Still the same issue: Interface appears for about two to three seconds, then disappears.

Disabling HW Acceleration did the trick.

Then it's likely another software trying to inject something into Aurora because with HW acceleration it uses directx. Some tools with ingame overlays could think Aurora is a game because of that.

Things like FRAPS, MSI Afterburner, RTSS come to mind. But glad you got it working. Thanks for the update.
