Aurora wont open on Aurora Bug Reports Discussion Message Board - Page 1

I gave up on cheap happens last year and just use cheathappens now as I can't get Auroa to work. However there is a trainer I really want to use that cheathappens doesnt have. Why can you not just let users download trainers like we used to be able to, like we paid for.

Not everyone is great with using computers and that's me. There isn't even a how to download/install guide for it?!

I've downloaded to desk top. I've extracted file to desk top. I click on the AuroaEXE and I get asked "allow this app to make changes to your hard drive" I click yes and then nothing. I've disbaled all virus softwarer, I've deleted and reinstalled and it will never open for me

Help please?

did you exclude the Aurora folder from your anti-virus? Does it show in your task manager? does it show up on your start bar?

You can always open a support request and ask for TeamViewer assistance where one of our techs will troubleshoot the issue directly on your PC. We have a 99% success rate using this method.

Sorry for lying on the questionnaire.
But I can't actually get to activate the trainer.

I open Aurora, login, and it just disappears,
I have it excluded both exe and directory, in bit defender, tried disabling AV.
Check task manager and it is open and 0.1% cpu usage, ALT-TAB show a empty window for the application. Can only close the app.
I even downloaded the most recent version and installed, Just in case.

No worries, and thanks for any pointers

Through self trouble shooting this morning discovered Diagnostic System host was hung up???? Made it automatic, rebooted, set it back to manual, then in Task man Maximized the app, because it had moved into the desktop void Area off screen.

No idea, why DSH was hanging as system was both updated and complete power-off shut down several time since the last use of Aurora....
or why the app decided to take a walk in the desk top void. Oh well computer voodoo.

Add 1 more thing that might help someone out in the future.
