Apparently it was removed mid december. the EAC launcher no longer launches when starting the game (at least on steam) the files still exist in the install, but it does not seem to be active or in use. edit: I cannot seem to find EAC in task manager either like I can when running EAC games like Rust.
[Edited by blitzy135, 2/9/2023 12:04:00 AM] edit again: apparently EAC was ALMOST entirely removed, with it's implementation reduced down to only monitoring their premium currency to ensure people aren't editing it for the purpose of getting free microtransactions, this is being backed up by modders, I don't think I can link here though.

It's not just the matter of anti-cheat, there were other conditions stipulated for the trainer as well. Namely being able to play solo offline on a locally(ie on your pc) hosted server. AFAIK, there's still no word on a solo mode, let alone offline local hosting.

I see, personally I'm not interested in the typical infinite ammo/health end of things more just in the resources and stuff like that, the grind in this game for a usable weapon right now is terrible. I kinda see it to being similar to the deep rock trainer CH has when that game is 99% online, it was great for progression speedup so I could play with buddies at their level.
